Currently Orthodox Care is supporting the building and establishment of a medical facility in Namibia
Executive Summary The Coptic Orthodox Church in Windhoek / Namibia, through its community outreach ministry in Okahandja, Namibia, seeks partnership and financial support to establish St. Mark's Polyclinic and Community Health Centre. The proposed facility will provide affordable, accessible, and integrated healthcare services to vulnerable children, low-income families, elderly residents, and underserved communities in Okahandja and surrounding villages. The project builds on the Church's long-standing humanitarian work through the Okahandja Samaritans Network (OSN), which currently supports hundreds of vulnerable individuals through feeding programs, social support initiatives, and community outreach. The health centre will offer: General Medical Services (General Practitioner Clinic) Dental Care Services Diagnostic Imaging and Radiology Optometry and Eye Care Pharmacy Services
